Results showed that people who drank black tea reduced their bad cholesterol—or LDL–by up to eleven percent in less than a month. Could tea become the next weapon in preventing heart disease?
Not so fast—before you guzzle that glass, remember—black tea is high in caffeine, which can cause health problems for some. However, this study points to continuing evidence of the benefits of tea. In fact, saying goodbye to coffee and hello to tea, may be an idea worth brewing.
