You made it through the holidays. But are you filled with joy or frazzled from stress? Nearly eighty percent of us expect the holidays to add anxiety, exhaustion, and debt—and none of those add up to good health.
It may be time to rethink your approach and focus on what really matters. That could mean simplifying, doing fewer activities, or adjusting your priorities.
Some families forgo big-ticket gifts for acts of service like car washes or help with house projects, give coupons for their favorite foods, or make their primary goal spending more time together. You can even exchange planning a big holiday party for volunteering as a family.
While the holidays are still fresh in your mind, consider reflecting on the previous weeks and the changes that would add more cheer next year. Set goals for a simpler, less stressful season and a truly blessed New Year.
