Bullies from the Past

Bullying, it’s a normal part of growing up and going to school; then we all move on. Well, that’s what a lot of us think, but it couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Research shows that being bullied can lead to emotional and behavioral problems, plus crippled basic life skills, even years after your last report card. The effects damage social skills, employment, and even lead to greater levels of depression and anxiety.

Maybe you were bullied. How can a study about your past help you now? It could be a wake up call to get help. Repressed anger, shame, and other emptions can be dealt with successfully. Healing from low self-esteem and other wounds can be a reality. Talk to a pastor or consoler or start with a trusted friend.

Your past does not have to bully you anymore.
