Good News: Drive-Thru Difference Is More Than Free Coffee

A SACKed story from Debbie:  On Feb. 19th I got up late for work. I didn’t have time for breakfast so I thought I would stop at Dunkin Donuts in Highland, IN. Upon getting there I was stopped in the lot trying to find my Dunkin card.  A red car with an RN plate was in front of me at the drive thru. I placed my order, pulled up, opened my door to pay, (my window wasn’t working that day) when the guy told me the lady in the car in front of me paid for my order. I couldn’t believe it. He handed me my stuff and said have a good day. I thanked him, said God Bless you, and drove of in tears. I drove to work that day thanking God for what just happened, and praying blessings for that lady. What started out as a bad day, God used the lady in the red car to show me He loves me and takes care of me. The rest of the day was positive. Thank you Lord, Thank you Shine, and Thank you to the lady in the red car.

Home School: You Are Beautiful

This week’s SACKed idea is for all the ladies!  All you have to do is buy a bottle of nail polish, write a little note that says YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, and tape a SACKed card to it all, and leave it in a public bathroom!  Wouldn’t it be nice to pop into the bathroom during a hectic day at work or in the middle of running errands and find this sweet reminder?

Of course the men can get in on the action as well, by either choosing something manly, OR by purchasing nail polish and leaving it for his wife or daughters!  Click here to get your SACKed cards.

Good News: SACKed Idea Helps Kids Witness To 95 Families

Here’s another SACKed story from one of our listeners!
“I was listening to the radio the other day and heard about handing out Valentine’s Day cards by placing them on windshields at our work parking lots. That gave me an idea for our Children’s ministry yesterday and I wanted to tell you our story.

Here goes:

Today I taught the 3rd to 5th grade kids the importance of
witnessing/ministry. The point being that you never know what someone’s going through; they may just need to hear that Jesus loves them.

To put the lesson into practice, our kids wrote on the back of some Valentine’s Day cards saying, “Jesus Loves You.” And during our Bible Time, we took those cards and placed them on windshields throughout the AMC parking lot where we meet. Some of the recipients are church members but many were not. All-in-all, our kids placed Valentine’s Day cards on 95 vehicles this morning! That’s 95 families that our Kids ministered to today!”

Good News: SACKed Makes A Huge Difference

How’s this for a Good News Story!  From Donna, “It is Valentine’s Day. A day of love. My husband and I found out last night that his 61 year old brother had passed away suddenly. I was feeling very sad as I pulled into my local Starbucks for a much needed boost. When I got to the window, I was told that the lady in front of me paid for my coffee and scone and said Happy Valentine’s Day. I can’t express how heart-warming and appreciative I am or express how much this meant to me. We can all make that little gesture from time to time. Happy Valentines Day to the wonderful lady and to all of you.”
