Doesn’t it seem like everybody has an iPod these days?
It does, including you.
I do, and I think they are wonderful. You know, 48 million of those things have been sold. I think one of the things we like about them is that we can control what we hear.
It’s amazing. You can screen everything out except for exactly what you want to choose to listen to.
Right, and I think sometimes we fall into that same desire our relationship. Don’t you?
I love having an iPod in our marriage sometimes, because I always don’t want to hear what you have say.
Put me on pause or lower the volume. I understand. It goes both ways. So friend, think about that in your own relationship. When you are tempted to screen out what your spouse is trying to say to you, take off those proverbial headphones and listen.
